This is my LifeStream. It demonstrates that blog software is the best place to create and aggregate content.
It will pull in all my updates here just like FriendFeed or Facebook does. The key difference, however, is that I own the result and an ecosystem of developers can compete to get added to my 'profile page'. This experience is powered by Wordress and a WP Plugin called Echo LifeLine. Echo LifeLine is still in private alpha. This means that any additional WP plugins or Skins can be added at any time.
The firehose is created by Weblogs.com, RSS and Google blog search just like it is for normal blogging.
The only thing missing is a shared, addressable namespace although I am surprised to find that Echo might actually solve that problem organically.
